How AnxiKalm Compete Works
The key ingredient of AnxiKalm Compete is L-Tryptophan, an amino acid that is converted to serotonin in the body. Combined with Vitamin B it is known to decrease anxiety and reduce the feelings of stress. Magnesium has a long-term calming effect and is a key nutrient for ensuring the integrity of nerve endings and the health of the mucus membranes that are key to an individual horse’s level of sensitivity. Magnesium levels can be lowered by stress and anxiety and so need to be replenished.

Administration and quantity needs to be varied according to each individual horse or pony. Normally best given in a 3 hour window prior to a stressful event (travel, competition, clipping etc.) with the last being given at 1 hour 30 mins.
